Jocelyne Kenne Kenne

Research Fellow

Dr. Kenne is a linguist and Africa-China analyst. She earned her PhD in Linguistics from the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS), University of Bayreuth, Germany. She holds a M.A and B.A in Linguistic and Intercultural Communication from the University of Siena (Italy). Dr. Kenne’s research focuses on China-Africa relations, intercultural communication, language contact, second language acquisition, linguistic landscape and the field of pragmatics.

Her work has been published as journal articles, book chapters, and policy papers. Her recent book is Language and Interaction in the Chinese Community in Cameroon: A Sociolinguistic Profile.
