The Team

Paa Kwesi Wolseley Prah is a final year PhD candidate in the Department of Government and International Affairs at Lingnan University in Hong Kong under the prestigious Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. He earned his master’s degree in Democratic Governance and Civil Society from the University of Osnabruck in Germany as part of the DAAD Helmut Schmidt Good Governance and Public Policy Program, where he focused on Peace and Conflict Studies. Before starting his PhD, Prah served as the Advocacy and Campaign Manager at One Life Aid Foundation, a non-governmental organization in Ghana dedicated to assisting the underprivileged through health and education initiatives. His main research interests include China-Africa security relations, US-Africa security relations, terrorism, counterterrorism, and political insecurity in Africa.
